DNB, FNB and Other Courses
DNB/ FNB program is being offered at 25 locations across Apollo Group Hospitals –
Chennai, Delhi, Hyderabad, Kolkata, Bangalore, Bhubaneswar, Madurai, Mysore, Bilaspur, Ahmedabad, Guwahati, Navi Mumbai, Lucknow, Nellore, Kochi, Indore, Seshadripuram, Trichy, Secunderabad, Hyderguda, Apollo Kakinada, Bhopal, Jayanagar and Vizag in 56 specialties/ super specialties: comprising of 17 Primary and Secondary DNB specialties, 27 Super specialties and 12 Specialties in FNB.
Currently there are 668 DNB seats which is the highest number of seats in any healthcare institution and 1152 DNB trainees.
Pass Percentage of DNB trainees is 89% at Apollo Group which is the highest as compared to National Average of 65%.
The Diplomate qualification awarded by the National Board of Examinations are equated with the postgraduate and post doctorate degrees awarded by other Indian Universities for all purposes including appointment to teaching posts as lecturer/Assistant Professor by the Government of India, Ministry of Health and Family Welfare.
